We are looking forward to meeting you! The Gospel Chapel Evangelical Free Church began in Vanderhoof in 2002 and is today a growing and vibrant Church family of around 400 who love Jesus and our community. Here you can find a few frequently asked questions about our Church.
What can I expect if I come to The Gospel Chapel Evangelical Free Church?
We are a welcoming community of imperfect people that gather to worship God and fellowship together. We come from all walks of life and ages. We are a large, diverse Church family with many young families, singles, children, teens, young adults, adults and seniors who call the Gospel Chapel Evangelical Free Church home.
What is a Worship service like?
Our Worship Services are about 60 minutes in length and feature contemporary music and practical teaching from the Bible. We are passionate about music and teaching and have several worship bands and many gifted speakers who share God’s Word with us. We invite you to get to know us and have a cup of coffee between the services.
How should I dress?
Comfortably! Some of us like to dress casually, while others enjoy dressing up a little. We believe that God cares more about our hearts than our clothing and so we invite you to come as you like.
What does your church believe in?

what do you offer for kids and youth?
A lot! We love kids and teens! One of our values is to mentor, equip and release the next generations into ministry today. We have many opportunities for your children and youth to connect with others as they grow with God.

Where are you located?
We are situated in Vanderhoof, the geographical centre of Beautiful British Columbia. We are centrally located in our community and have plenty of parking available at the Church.
